It is hard to believe it's been a month already,honestly I don't want to believe it. If I could slow the hand of time I would! You are such a a big weighing in at more than eleven and a half pounds. You are also a very sweet and happy little guy, and are already rewarding us with your adorable smile. You love to snuggle, you lay with your head on my chest and look up with your sleepy blue eyes and grin, It's hands down one of the best feelings in the world to be the reason for your happiness.
At 1 month you are nursing every three hours during the day, and every three and half to four hours at night. Meaning you are up twice a night, and although I am exhausted I enjoy our late night feedings because it's the only time of day that it's just you and me.
You love music, bath time, and being swaddled maybe a little to much. If you are not being held in order to keep you calm for more than a few minutes we have to keep you in a tight swaddle. One part of our daily routine is swaddling you and placing you in your swing and playing lullabies while I work in the kitchen. If you are fussy it's usually late afternoon and into the evenning, and I either place you in the swing like mentioned above or wear you in the Moby. Of the two you would much rather I wear you.
Your brother and sister adore you and are always eager to hold, hug, kiss on you. Audrey loves to sing to you and John who is just learning to read likes to read to you. You are the perfect addition to our family, and are already loved more that you know!
