Dresses, Flowers, Bumps, & Bruises.

I love my little girl! Not that I dont love and adore my son, because I do. However, I adore the dresses, shoes, and hair clips, and I love that she finds just as much excitment in them as much as I do, if not more. This girl can easly be bribed with a new pair of shoes or pretty dress. And I cant help but smile when I watch her take gentle care of her baby dolls . She likes to rock them, feed them, take them for walks, and tuck them in at night. I love that she always wants to stop and smell the flowers and wants everyone around her to smell them as well. However, that is just one side of our little girl. Even though she loves her dresses, babies, flowers, and enjoys tea parties; she is always just one step behind her brother. She is more than willing the play in the dirt and throw rocks in the river. She scales the slides at the playgroud like it's what she was born to do. And she will not be pushed around, most of the time she's actually the one doing the pushing. She ends most day with more scraped knees and bruises than I ever remember John having at this age, but they dont bother her she wears them like a badge. I do think had Audrey been the oldest she would probably have been a girly girl through and through, but having an older brother to keep up and put up with has made her one tough little girl and I couldnt imagine her any other way.
