What Makes Your House a Home?
Recently another blog I follow encouraged us to think about "what in our house makes it a home?" There are a few different spots in my house that hold many precious moments. For example, my bed where every morning John & Audrey come with monkey, blankies, and bottle in tow, to snug with mom & dad and start the day off with a round of kisses and giggles. Or the living room floor that has hosted many Veggie Tale theme dances, or had been a wrestling mat for John to take on daddy his biggest competitor, where Audrey first started crawling, and is now learning to take her 1st steps. However, the spot in our house that I enjoy the most is our bathtub! No matter what may have happened all day, when it's time for baths everyone is happy. John has loved the bath from the time he was an infant, and Audrey is just as enthused and there is nothing they like doing more than playing in the tub together. It's where laughs are always had, and smiles are always worn. Where silly hair styles are created, and delightful squeals are to be heard and of course where cute baby cheeks can always be seen!
